@teaduckie aww I'm sure you do quality work! I mostly do trashy digital comics on the Kindle store that maybe 1,000 people read tops

Secret Little Haven is now available!

Secret Little Haven is a game about a trans girl discovering herself through fandom, chats, and the early internet!

ITCH: ristar.itch.io/secret-little-h

Trailer: youtube.com/watch?v=lftJDbcF-j

LB: me whenever anyone posts out of context screencaps of Sailormoon Crystal

Identity

@Tarale Sure, but a formal diagnosis is intended mostly to get you access to accommodations due to you from things like government offices or your workplace… in the absence of that need, you can still self-diagnose, "proceed as if", and see if the resources and writings and stuff available to you have anything to offer

Identity

@Tarale in my (second hand) experience a diagnosis is very expensive and doesn't have much benefit, but any mental health professional will be able to informally say, hey yeah sounds about right

~d i s c o u r s e~, the words "cis"

@squirrel I'm not cis or trans

@squirrel :o awake already?
have a great day and don't forget to take a nap later!

Esperanto

@teaduckie I am! I do romance comics, these days mostly for Kodansha.
My highest profile title is Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, but most of what I do is stuff you're very unlikely to have heard of before hehe

Esperanto

@teaduckie oh and Katjo’s partner Génesis speaks English Spanish Esperanto and studies creole languages

Esperanto

@teaduckie
-We live with our friend Jack who is from Florida and whose family lives part time in Mexico, she speaks English and reads French and Latin
-Jack and I work in the manga industry, I translate Japanese-English and she’s an editor
-My partner Pepper was born in Ireland and raised in France and didn’t learn English until elementary school
-My ex Sara is from Sweden and is fluent in English and fairly proficient in Japanese
-Pepper’s girlfriend’s girlfriend is also Swedish

Esperanto

@teaduckie we speak mostly English to each other, but yeah there are lots of linguistic backgrounds in my family !
-I’m from the US and was raised in French for one year but I barely remember it even after two years of formal instruction, I also studied Korean two years in school and forgot all of it ._.
-My partner Katjo is from Argentina, was raised in Texas, speaks English with eir close relatives and Spanish with distant ones

Esperanto

@teaduckie Eir partner is a linguistics nerd (aren't we all though) and convinced em to learn it & also brush up on eir native spanish, so our whole household has been really multilingual lately @.@

Esperanto

@teaduckie My partner is learning Esperanto and e really wants me to pick it up too
I just want to work on my french and korean and swedish…
