A room just opened up on our super cool super queer apartment in Western Mass. Rent is cheaper than average. Rooms are bigger than average. We have The Cozy Cube. Move-in is flexible but ideally you'd move in May 1st. HMU if you're interested. (Or know someone interested)

it implies continuity with something you or another person just said
you can also just say it on its own, like someone can say something and you can be all "Datte!" or "datte ba!" and it means, like, "okay, but did you consider that that's not the case?"
