Setting aside the whole "we hired a cop because they used a bunch of raspis to do cop stuff, hashtag heart eyes" problem, this whole "it's a lot faster, costs more and you need to worry about cooling now" edition raspi definitely feels like they've lost the plot.
The libre.computer and orangepi people are still doing good work in this space, if that's your jam.
Holy shit looks like the WGA pretty much got *everything it wanted*, including structural change.
UNIONS WORK.

I just released a song on Bandcamp! It's called Don't Look At The Sun, and it's a joke song that's meant to sound like it could either be about having a lovely summer in the nice hot weather, or about the world ending by way of the Earth crashing into the Sun! Folky and chill with a cool Rhodes piano and acoustic guitar.
There are two versions, both the same except that the first track has screaming between 1:52 to 2:07 (some kids I recorded who were playing at the local pool, but very creepy with the reverb added!) and the second track does not have screaming.
Let me know what you think!

@InfiniteNutshell hugs if you want them
hey there, I played Grey Area on stream with the other devs @BisTheFairy and cassie and we talked a lot about the game's development and story and just generally the thought process behind everything! hope you enjoy! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzA2Px6SdxLH2Qi2uekUlD4GWeRScuqBs
If you've like me, you've found the "how much pain are you in on a scale of 0-10" question annoying to answer because everyone's 0-10 varies so much. Well, I wanted to share the new DVPRS pain scale, which defines 0-10 by how much it's impairing your life.

@Mustbetuesday that's really cool! I studied a bunch of languages in college (in one of my linguistics courses we studied a new language every week) and I've always been interested in stuff like this so I'm excited to give it a try!
@Mustbetuesday oh that sounds really interesting!
A friend recommended me a game with a similar translation theme called Heaven's Vault, where you're an archaeologist and the game's focus is you deciphering an ancient language. I haven't played it yet either but if you're still after the deciphering a new language part maybe you could try that one next!
I got like 40 more so
Cohost has about 20,000 active users
200 notes means approximately 1% of the whole website has interacted with my post
That's crazy
so I woke up to a hundred new notes on the post, which added to the 50-some from yesterday equals way way more than I thought it would ever get
@fresnel I still want to hear the well-tuned clavier in weirdo tuning just to hear it but idk. tuning instruments is overrated. a little dissonance do you good. gamelan music is wonderful and so is noise.
“Inverse vaccine” shows potential to treat multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases
tl;dr A typical vaccine teaches the human immune system to recognize a virus or bacteria as an enemy that should be attacked. The new “inverse vaccine” does just the opposite: it removes the immune system’s memory of one molecule.
Only in lab settings at the moment but still.
