Why do some Windows 95 programs run okay on 64-bit Windows 10, and others don't? What's the simplest way to run the latter, on such a machine?

@frameacloud So, W95 had a 16-/32-bit hybrid kernel. Some programs from that time were written as 16-bit programs, other were written 32-bit. 64-bit Windows hasn't been able to run the former for quite some time (W7 at least, maybe Vista). If you want to run those, something like a W95 or (32-bit) Win XP VM is probably your best bet.

(I'm assuming not being able to run things is what you're having problems with. In any case, though, a VM is probably your best bet.)
