So, ostensibly, I support section 230. I think that most people who hate it don't even know what it is. But after the events of yesterday, I think we've finally hit the limit of §230. Twitter has known how bad Trump can be for *years* and let him keep using their platform. Twitter should absolutely, in part, be held liable for what happened. 1/2

It would be like knowing someone's a child pornographer, and merely giving them a slap on the wrist temporary suspension and saying you'll only ban them if they do it again. At that point, if they do it again, I honestly feel you're liable for that. You knew they were problematic and you let them stay anyways. It's no different with Twitter letting Trump stay. 3/3

And even if you think Twitter shouldn't be held liable for yesterday, they are explicitly allowing him to stay on their platform as long as long as he doesn't try this again. Even if you don't think they should be held liable for yesterday, they are absolutely culpable if he does this again using their platform. 2/3
