Things I look forward to about moving out next month (this isn't a happy list)

Not finding scorpions and massive spiders around the place
Internet that doesn't drop out at least once a month
UTA actually takes care of their apartments, unlike mom's landlord
Not having to live in this shitty hellhole of a town

Things I look forward to about moving out next month (this is a happy list)

Not having mom occasionally burst in to show me random facebook stuffs :blobbuntonguewink:
Being in the city I like
Being closer to my uni
Being closer to my uni's activity center
Being on my own (a godsend for my energy levels)
Faster internet

Family stuffs

And, just to be clear, I do love my mother. I'm lucky to have a mother like her. But she can be a bit much sometimes and I just, like, need her to back off. But, she's pretty good about not constantly being up in my business. Thus, that went on the good list with an emoji to indicate cheekiness. Love ya, mom! :blobcatheart:
(Not that she'll ever see this.)

Oh, and add "Having constant cell service" to one of those lists :P

The initial list brought to you by "I was about to start Jean's story quest in Genshin Impact when my internet went out, and I'm pretty upset about it"

Genshin Impact

I finally got to play the quest, and, well, if I had a nickel for every time I've started going on a rant at no one about how you have to take care of yourself before you can hope to care for anyone else that was prompted by this game, I'd have two nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Genshin Impact

Like, Jean, fuck's sake. How do you expect to fight for your people if you don't keep yourself in fighting shape?! Take a fucking break, Jean!

And, so, as a reminder, if you are expected to take care of someone or especially a bunch of someone, don't forget to take time to rest. If you don't, your ability to help them will only go downhill. As they say, put your own oxygen mask on first.

Anywho, end thread.
