A lot's been said about imposter syndrome and how valid it is, and the gods know I've experienced my fair share of impostor syndrome over stuff I can do, but I'm currently, despite lacking any reasonable qualifications, applying for tech director of a school because the HS principal thinks I should and nothing more, so I'm gonna call these thoughts reasonably valid
The principal, for what it's worth, does have a degree in CS, so it's not like she doesn't know what she's talking about, but I'm not sure her evaluation is 100% accurate. But knowing I have her behind me, and being relatively certain I'd have the current tech director behind me, I may as well. I mean, if I do get the job, that'll be a pretty decent paycheck, so...
