So, I figured that Watatsumi and its history might be based off the Ainu people. Like, I'll be honest, I don't know enough about Ainu history or the Ainu language to say one way or the other, but it would make sense to have the kinda separate but related people to your Japan analogue the Ainu (iirc what little I know of the Ainu). But you're telling me they're actually fucking GREECE?! GREECE?! WHAT THE FUCK?!

Listen. I know I just admitted I know little about the Ainu language, but I do know shit about Greek, and I'm much more confident in calling Spartacus and Chthonios Greek than I am Ainu.
