Okay, so using Virtualbox fixes the crashes but now I'm stuck here
It comes with Internet Explorer 4.0 Platform Preview. All of this definitely screams "Beta that ended up at Goodwill somehow".
This is where I'm gonna leave this off for now. I'll try to upload both the ISO and the virtual hard disk to archive.org later so you can play around with it yourself.
