@Nezumi To be fair, I think I found the single leftist who does, as everyone else already seemed to be calling them on their bullshit. But (if you can't tell) mental health is a subject that can get me angry quick if you've got opinions this stupid on it, given my experience with depression and the like, and I needed to vent.

@hipsterbeastboy Just to give anyone reading this an idea of just how much that $650 billion is: That could literally pay for my mental health care *21 million times over*. And, that's assuming I have to undergo PHP and IOP once a year (which I would *hope* I wouldn't) and that I'm going to my therapist once a week. For my run of the mill mental healthcare? *108 million times over*. And instead we spend it on multi-billion dollar companies. We're literally letting people suffer for profit.

I gotta say, learning about the whole "one chime, two chime" thing with elevators has broken me. I just heard an elevator chime and, with absolutely no way to see it, still went, "Hmm. Going down."

In case you don't get it, seroquel is an antipsychotic that causes extreme drowsiness, to the point that it often gets used as a sleep aid. Thus, while the night crew are "woke" (awake), those who take their seroquel at night before bed are fast asleep.

@nova Not taking my meds on a regular basis is part of what landed me in a partial hospitalization program. The fact that the meds didn't work well didn't help, but the wildly varying schedule absolutely fucked me over. If you are on psychiatric meds (antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, etc.), *please* take your meds on a regular schedule!!!
