No, I'm pretty sure I'm straight up manic and I think I know why. I ran out of lithium the other day, but have still been taking my antidepressant, and I think it just now got bad. I really need to get in to a fucking psychiatrist to get my meds sorted out, because this shit straight up sucks. Like, hypomania is alright but this straight up sucks ass.

Granted, I wasn't using insurance for the psychiatrist because she was with my uni and was way cheaper than my insurance copay, but still. Hell, I'm curious if my doctor still has my old referral lying around (because I was referred to a psychiatrist before I started seeing the one at my uni).

I really need to get in to a psychiatrist to get properly diagnosed bipolar and get my meds adjusted accordingly, but I can't do that until I get in to my primary care doctor to get a referral to a psychiatrist even though I'm on multiple psychiatric meds (that my insurance is covering) and I've been seeing a psychiatrist for the past year. (Hell, I was in partial hospitalization and my insurance covered that! They should know!)

I seem to be in a (hypo)manic episode. For the first time in a while, I've noticed how bad it is and it's actually been bothering me. Like, I cannot stop. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a manic episode w/o psychosis.

Saw a commercial earlier about "smash gender roles" with some girl playing football and, like, great. You think women should actually be treated like humans and not be judged for their """masculine""" hobbies. Great. Thanks for finally joining the fucking bandwagon. Honestly, come fucking see me when you wanna say it's okay for a guy to wear a dress. Then I'll believe you when you say "smash gender roles". Til then, fuck off with your """woke""" advertising.

If you're gonna propose writing english with runes, for fuck's sake, at least use the anglo-saxon runes. They're more fit for purpose on the basis of being, well, part of the english lineage.

A lot of my life, I've been called up for tech support. When I was in sixth grade (circa 2011), a teacher asked me for help downloading a song off youtube for a graduation slide show. Trivial now, but I didn't know how at the time, leading to a process that took a good few days. However, in the process, I had to listen to that song a lot.

Mildly cursed thought for the day: ice is just congealed water

So, I've a question about emphasis in Spanish. I was watching TV and an ad for Peacock came on (in Spanish) with the phrase "No puedes no ver". However, it was emphasized as "No puedes. No ver." To my English-native brain that seems weird. I'd emphasize it as "No puedes NO ver". But, is it actually weird, or is my English language bias kicking in here?

@banjofox@hackers.town I quite like Fedora, though I'll also second Linux Mint (I particularly like the MATE edition) and, if you're okay with an Arch-based distro, highly recommend Manjaro. Having access to the AUR is absolutely fantastic, and Manjaro makes that about as easy as running something like Fedora. The biggest catch is that it is, like Arch, rolling release, though *I* tend to find Arch reasonably stable (in so far as I've never had issues with it; YMMV).

(How is there even a government to collect taxes at this point?)
