Sometimes, I go quiet, whether on here or in real life. Sometimes, this is because I genuinely have nothing to say. A lot of the time, it's because I'm too scared to say anything, for one reason or another, particularly when it comes to real life. Even when what I have to say is important in some way, my anxiety issues its veto.

I've decided to start using a Picrew avi. I'm keeping my display name constant for now to avoid any undue confusion, but eventually, I figure I'll probably change my display name to some variant on Kat (or I'll go back to an Aura avi)

Continuing my thoughts on left unity from last night, it is worth saying that there should be some manner of unity between libertarian leftists. Ancoms and syndicalists, for instance, for all their differences, should work together. It may even be of worth to bring some democratic socialists and social democrats into the fold. What it's not worth doing is pretending that we should be allying with authoritarians. History shows again and again that it only turns out poorly.

A lot has been said on leftist infighting. But here's something that's worth repeating: a lot of "leftist infighting" is actually libertarian leftists (rightly) attacking authoritarian leftists. Like, guys. Come on. Unlike the "libertarian" right, we're not going to ally with a bunch of people who'd just as soon kill us off for ideological reasons in the name of some BS notion of "left unity". We see through your ploy and (rightly) reject you.

You know how sometimes some of us like to joke about minor inconveniences being transphobia? Like "Ouch! I stubbed my toe! This is transphobia!" Contra complaining about how "inconvenient" it is to have to state her pronouns is what happens when you decide that that joke should be an actual complaint.
