Okay, scratch appointment on Friday. I have to change my primary care doctor for my insurance to cover it, and they don't make that change effective until the start of the next month (maybe the next year, in which case I'm lucky this is happening at the end of the year). So, no appointment until next month :P

Hey, so I got the lab results after my trans clinic appointment yesterday. Fun stuff!
My T's dropped a whole lot! My E's gone up quite a bit! With the change in my meds to 150mg/day spiro and 6mg/day estradiol, those are likely to continue the way they're going.
Unfortunately, my thyroid is fairly fucked. It was barely out of spec before (TSH 4.96), now it's fucked (TSH 14.4). So, I've got a doctor's appointment on friday and will likely need to see an endocrinologist. Fun :P

Well, I just finished my job interview and, uh, yikes. Like, I'm not gonna say I did *bad*, per se, but it was a bunch of "think of a time when..." questions and it just completely threw me off. Just. Yikes.

Hopefully that didn't completely destroy my chances of getting this job. We'll see.

So, yeah. That's how my life's been here lately. How've y'all been?

Oh, right. Nursing school. Remember how I was going to become an EMT? Yeah, turns out, not a hugely trans-friendly area to go into. I mean, it mightn't be the worst once I transition, but right now? No bueno. But, the doctor at the trans clinic suggested ER nursing, and, after some thinking and looking, I decided to go for it. So, I had advising on the 3rd, and it went well enough that I'll be returning to UTA in the spring as a (pre)nursing student!

Oh, yeah, I have a phone interview today. I applied as a transporter at a nearby hospital. I figure it'd be a good way into healthcare. They called to schedule an interview after seeing the screening form I sent them, so that's a good sign. Hopefully, all goes well. I could use the job, and, well, apparently, this hospital will pay for your nursing school, so that would *really* help!

So, my phone broke. Another 5X lost. Except I actually got this one to keep going. (Good thing, too, as I have *two* important phone calls today!) Tried to flash a BLoD patch, but it wouldn't boot, so I dirty flashed a BLoD patched Lineage 17 ROM and it's working again. Hopefully it holds up long enough to get through these calls. (And hopefully the phone interview goes well so I can get a job and afford to get a new, not-broken phone!)

Yeah, I decided to go with the milling head. I though about going for the lathe spindle—you know, mount a four-jaw or something—but I figure the milling stuff'd be more useful.
