Somewhere else, incidentally, is maybe Newgrounds? Not 100% sure yet, but I'll get it figured out. Until then, you can find all my art on my website, any furry artwork on FurAffinity, and I, of course, usually post new art here, so if you like my artwork, there's your current options. Anywho. I'll let you get on with your day now. Take care of yourself. Try to have some fun. Love you πŸ’—β€‹

So yeah, that's all fun, ain't it? Kind of a crock of shit, but, let's face it, that's dA for you these days. I'm getting ready to jump ship for...somewhere else...for a reason. (A reason pretty much exclusively related to the fact they've decided that all art uploaded to the site is fair game for their AI partnership. Fuck that bollocks.)

Show thread

Weirdly, though, my tabletop wrestling game ruleset is "brand-safe". Maybe they just marked art and not literature? Either that, or I've got good news for if I ever end up corrupted by capitalism and decide to monetize it.

Show thread

All of my boxing-type are is marked mature, even where I didn't do so myself, so I guess boxing isn't "brand-safe". Makes sense. You should see some of the boxing art people post

Show thread

Wait. Never mind. Lilix isn't marked as mature. Guess the incubus is "brand-safe". Hell yeah, time to get kinky on main!

Show thread

Actually, it's funny, both the image I uploaded of Lilix and the sketch I did of my headmates are marked mature, but the pride art I did for pride month in 2021 isn't, so apparently, I'm "brand-safe", but only in one particular form.

(I mean, I guess Lilix not being "brand-safe" makes sense since fae's an incubus.)

Show thread

So apparently deviantArt is automatically marking stuff mature for "brand-safe marketing" and, uh, this old self portrait got marked mature. I guess this means I'm not "brand-safe". Thank fuck.

(Img CW: eye contact. Otherwise, I wouldn't have marked it sensitive.)

silly

"Nice tits!"

"Thanks!" pulls birds out of bra "Their names are Dewey and Lewey!"

i heard that it is Follow Friday?

you can follow me, if you want to follow around a kitten. just an idea

Anyways, this has been incredibly lazy, completely pointless data analysis with Aura.

Show thread

I guess part of it is that no one really cared. If you look at the most popular holiday songs, the newest song is Mariah Carey in 1994 (and a recording of some older songs from 1995). Despite the dozens upon dozens of Christmas albums produced over the 2000s, none have managed to really worm their way into the popular conscience. So, if no one's gonna care, why bother? But, that's just one possibility.

Show thread

And another thing, what caused the Christmas album crash? Why do we have a whole order of magnitude less albums this year (to date) than we did in 2008? What caused everyone to stop making Christmas albums? Another thing the world may never know...

Show thread

In case you're curious, all data basically came from the wikipedia categories for " Christmas albums". That probably misses some albums, but it's close enough I'm sure.

Show thread

Like, jesus fuck, there are about as many albums in the first 15 years of that graph (71) as there were in 2008! How the fuck?!

Show thread

Here's a fun graph for you: number of christmas albums released per year since 1940. Starts off fairly low, then, starting in the early nineties, the numbers begin to skyrocket, peaking at 70(!!) in 2008, with the numbers declining heavily since then. I wonder what's up with that? I mean, Mariah Carey didn't help, but she alone can't be responsible for that peak a decade and a half later, can she? The world may never know...

The Global Bisexual Congress adjourned once again failing to make a decision on whether the standard joke is "That means I have sex twice a year" or "That means I have sex every other year." Tensions are high.

I'll be honest. I really like beep block skyway in mario 3d world. Like, timing the switching of the blocks to the music is so fucking clever and it makes the level so satisfying to play. I originally avoided it because it seemed like a bit of nightmare, but, oh. I think it's probably my favourite level (and definitely my favourite level music).

I saw talk the other day about how useless Google is getting, but I don't think it's just Google. I think search engines in general are getting worse. I wanted info on the stalk market in the original Animal Crossing. DuckDuckGo gives me New Horizons info. I try excluding "New Horizons" and yeah. No matter how I try to tweak it, it continues to give me ACNH info, literally in the top few results.

Is this not how you exclude results anymore or have these things really gotten this bad?

health insurance, + (but, like, relatively), uspol ranting

But, yeah, once again, it's sad I have to be this happy over this. Like, yeah, it's good I'll have basically free healthcare, but, like, I should have that anyways. Everyone should. That we don't is a fucking travesty. I shouldn't be sitting here with $10,000 in ER bills. I shouldn't have been having to worry about how I was going to pay for my next psychiatrist visit. It's just...wrong.
