Weirdly, though, my tabletop wrestling game ruleset is "brand-safe". Maybe they just marked art and not literature? Either that, or I've got good news for if I ever end up corrupted by capitalism and decide to monetize it.

All of my boxing-type are is marked mature, even where I didn't do so myself, so I guess boxing isn't "brand-safe". Makes sense. You should see some of the boxing art people post ​

Actually, it's funny, both the image I uploaded of Lilix and the sketch I did of my headmates are marked mature, but the pride art I did for pride month in 2021 isn't, so apparently, I'm "brand-safe", but only in one particular form.

(I mean, I guess Lilix not being "brand-safe" makes sense since fae's an incubus.)

So apparently deviantArt is automatically marking stuff mature for "brand-safe marketing" and, uh, this old self portrait got marked mature. I guess this means I'm not "brand-safe". Thank fuck.

Anyways, this has been incredibly lazy, completely pointless data analysis with Aura.

I guess part of it is that no one really cared. If you look at the most popular holiday songs, the newest song is Mariah Carey in 1994 (and a recording of some older songs from 1995). Despite the dozens upon dozens of Christmas albums produced over the 2000s, none have managed to really worm their way into the popular conscience. So, if no one's gonna care, why bother? But, that's just one possibility.

And another thing, what caused the Christmas album crash? Why do we have a whole order of magnitude less albums this year (to date) than we did in 2008? What caused everyone to stop making Christmas albums? Another thing the world may never know...

In case you're curious, all data basically came from the wikipedia categories for " Christmas albums". That probably misses some albums, but it's close enough I'm sure.

Like, jesus fuck, there are about as many albums in the first 15 years of that graph (71) as there were in 2008! How the fuck?!
