like, could you make a tape drive and some tape at home? (with some relatively widely available equipment)

i guess one could always just make a tape puncher and paper is easy enough to make, but what about higher density, rewritable, and random-access tech?

So, the more I think on it, the more likely it seems that I'm bipolar II. The weird thing is that, in being treated for major depressive disorder, I'm possibly being treated for undiagnosed bipolar II. Like, I'm on a mood stabilizer (lithium), an antipsychotic (seroquel), and an antidepressant (effexor). If I were diagnosed with bipolar tomorrow, my meds literally wouldn't change.
