@autistikai ​ now that is a classic choice, but I've opted to leave those in the capable hands of death/necromancy themed villains, meanwhile my domain is more water based

though a mausoleum would diffuse heat better...

but seriously the water offers so many opportunities it kinda just depends what ur aesthetic is. like if u wanna look like ur slumming it, get a sleeping bag and find urself some random boat for the night. nobody'll even notice, much less care

@Breakfast i mean this isn't even specifically a rich people thing. most boats are gonna be docked at least overnight, bc boat people gotta sleep too. there are a Lot of boats at any docks you could just. walk up to and lay down in

and if you're not actually stealing the boat there's no way you'd bother anybody. except the kind of rich people who want to have boats to show off with. so it's basically the same

@autistikai I'm from suburban florida, so trust me boating is very much a rich people thing in my area.

some people who work in tourism have yachts, but they live in those makin money off river tours, meanwhile commercial fishermen don't have anything that could be crewed by one person anyhow

iirc a lot of fancy boats are designed so they can be crewed by one person, even the big ones. this is probably not true of fishing boats, but like....the megayachts or what have you mayb
