and there are a lot of people who supposedly specialise in accommodations / caring for esp. disabled folx who just. have a worldview that's incompatible with being aware of the issues those people face

@KitsuneAlicia@octodon.social this. a thousand fucking times this. can't count the number of times we've entered a space that's actively hostile to marginalised peoples and then had to deal with communicating that to someone, because we speak the hell up when something is wrong

but if we weren't there to point it out, it wouldn't ever be improved. and that's a little too much responsibility for one pair of shoulders
