an entire murder of crows. each bird is its own individual machine with its own aesthetic. some are sleek black, with no visible markings. some look like they were roughly hammered together from scrap metal. some are intricate filigree clockwork constructions. some are indistinguishable from organic corvids. you know. the works

i like that it's becoming very common knowledge that numbers above a million actually can't be understood properly by humans. they can be contextualized, and we can do meaningful things with them, but people are starting to really understand that billionaires didn't earn their money

Hey #MastoAdmin and friends of server admins, have you checked up on your friends' instances lately? :blobwhoa:

The recent LetsEncrypt bug has caused a lot of instances to suddenly have invalid certificates over the past few days.
community.letsencrypt.org/t/20

It's causing lots of instances to drop off the fediverse, and a storm of delays in the back-end, so if your timelines seem slow, that's probably why.
