@skelltan@hellsite.site i'm guesstimating. i've seen a lot of songs at 5 or fewer, but there are definitely songs that exist that are upwards of half an hour long. averages are weird
@skelltan@hellsite.site assuming they're of typical modern song length (around 7 minutes), this playlist is nearly a hundred fifty hours long. even operating at maximum efficiency it'd probably still take me a week to get through
....so i go look up a song someone recommended to me and the second thing i see is a playlist titled "poly songs n such" with 1217 thingies in it
im. so yeah that's a good sign abt this particular song ig but over a Thousand long playlist???? how am i supposed to go through the entire playlist and decide which songs i like

@ben i did said "at a glance". also, as a student of mythology, name variance is pretty common, so it wouldn't necessarily ping as "this is different"
still definitely seems like they aren't always completely separate, in any case, and blendiness complicates any attempt to count these things
@BestGirlGrace tbh that label doesn't narrow it down too much you could've just as easily been talking about the history of vampire fiction
