holy frag major shoutout to one of the organisations that basically raised me as a child? there's an article about them in the local news about how apparently when they were developing the leadership was like "hey we're starting to get gentrified we need to do the opposite of that" and then they did?? like, whoa, this is a friggen gentrified news source and they have an article outright saying gentrification is bad bc there's no other way to describe what these people did. i'm so proud of them

anyway i might not be able to bring about change myself but i have informed the people in charge that this problem needs to be addressed. i'll give them a week or two before i force the issue
