callout post for @autistikai
also ursula k le guin's The Left Hand of Darkness is in their hall of fame. which is very much unsurprising, because it's ursula k le guin. but also given there's literally no white people in the book i feel like that's a good sign in terms of inclusivity here
hjgfdghjg ok i'm looking at the list of titles awarded and:
2003, Queer Fear II
2007, The Future Is Queer

@autistikai 🎶 pickles, pickles, pickles, pickles, pickles, pickles, pickles make me feel good🎶
DOCTOR, GREETING ME AFTER I WAKE UP FROM A 20 YEAR COMA: Welcome sir, you've been in a coma for 20 years after you fell down 50 flights of stairs into a bomb factory. We've had to do massive prosthesis work on you to keep you alive
ME, LOOKING DOWN TO SEE THE LEFT HALF OF ME IS ALL METAL: Ah fuck this rules doesn't it?
DOCTOR, LOOKING AT HIS CLIPBOARD AND BACK TO ME: It extremely does sir
meds, complain
ok so i have a handful of things i need to take at about the same time every day and some of them it's like "don't touch this if ur not eating" and some it's like "don't even think about this if there's food near you" and i really don't get why they can't have some kind of system to make this not happen. given the medications themselves are standardised already it shouldn't be gorram hard
@BestGirlGrace Pubic library
anyway i've apparently gotten like. unintentionally involved in making a workspace more trans-friendly. not, to be clear, a workspace i'm at all part of
like i literally walked in earlier today and was like "hey you could improve some of these things" and they. friggin. actually called me to follow up on it
no idea how i got here but im doin a good so i aint complain
