Even the theists who criticise organised religion for its faults often make generic assumptions in their arguments based on their own experience. They fail to acknowledge the diversity in belief systems and sees every faith through the same lens, again aiding bigoted narratives.
The secret goal of Mastodon is to create a majority-anarchist environment such that any individual who joins will be exposed to those ideas to the extent that they're properly explained and normalized to them, then occasionally bring in new batches of people with enough time in between for the old batch to be subsumed into the antiauthoritarian mindset before the new batch arrives
It's all part of our Cultural Anarchist agenda, you see
It's a damning realisation that the idea of India you were led to believe ever since childhood was nothing but a grand old myth. A myth which was shaped by the insecure majoritarian narrative by hiding the very many vices and exaggerating the few virtues. For someone like me, it took a lot of years of unlearning to finally understand the reality of this society.

if you've gone your whole life seeing only good walls made of rectangular bricks and the occasional bad wall made of irregular and rough bricks, seeing a Voronoi-tiled wall will likely have a similar effect as this.
you'll think it hilarious, wildly novel, and fascinating - a brick wall built of jagged irregular bricks... but it works! it's a good wall, even though it breaks every convention you know. it might even be better in some ways!
and so your mind expands.
an autistic brain is not a damaged brain, it is a brain that is wired differently from others, and that wiring is not something that can be changed by chemicals or anything else for that matter

we love it because it makes you think slightly differently about the concepts at play than you usually do.
conventional:
"all your bases belong to us"
- every single one of a discrete quantity of bases
- we control them all
unconventional:
"all your base are belong to us"
- all of the amorphous base-stuff you have
- all this base-stuff exhibits the characteristic of "belong to us"
- things that exhibit "belong to us" are thereby under our control
