Ok, I don't know a lot about Thinkpads, but if I bought one to run Linux on and play around with programming/penetration testing, which one should it be?
I want something cheap and reliable, and I don't mind if the tech is outdated.
@troubleMoney I just bought an x220! A lot of people love the keyboard, so I decided to opt for it instead of the x230, to see what they're talking about.
@avi I have a personal preference for the X series ones
I'd probably recommend an X230 these days, X220 should also do you fine, X201 is showing its age a bit but should be adequate for most things
