Not everything has to be a fucking ironic shitpost, not everything has to be for an aidience, not everything needs to be easy to consume, not everything should be consumed.
Share a thought in the way it comes to you best, and other's receptions of your thought are about them, not you.
Stop trying to market your Self, stop trying to box yourself in, stop joking about brands and cancelling. It's not helping, it's old trash from other worlds.

they should give you medals for how long you've been out like those daycount coins in twelve-step programs

I dream of a future where we can all have a little salami

also while i'm at it with the constructive criticism,

can we please stop misrepresenting the historical witch-hunts as being a literal targeted oppression of literal witches?

the "witch cult" hypothesis has been thoroughly debunked and the "9 million" number is a fabrication invented by ahistorical neopagans

the witch hunts were a way of controlling women during the Primitive Accumulation of Capital (suggested reading: Silvia Federici's The Caliban and the Witch).

Boomers had essentially no class awareness because unions were on the decline and most boomers thought Socialism=Russia which made class Politics almost non existent.

The thing about researching mechanical keyboards, is that every review is 5 stars, best keyboard ever. The only time I've seen a bad review was when the keyboard wasn't compatible with Macs or the keys were broken.

Just learned about a woman in computer science history: Elizabeth Fong. She spent her career at the National Institute for Standards and Technology, and is mentioned as attending data standardization meetings in RFC-316 (1972). She was heavily involved in the effort to standardize SQL in the 1980s.

Here's a 2014 interview with her:

i will never not refer to the cover you place on a keyboard to prevent crumbs from getting under the keys as a "keyboard condom"

Book review, writing, Malcolm Gladwell

Wrote up a review of Malcolm Gladwell's latest book, "Talking to Strangers." This is why I don't read self-help Ted Talk esque books anymore.

I'm a writer and a coder, I spend most of my day on a keyboard that work gave me and that I don't even like. I really just want to know what to look for without having to resort to 4chan for some ungodly reason.
