9/11
I remember my Civics teacher being worried about the creeping fascism he saw as ol' Rudy got revved up about being crowned mayor for life, and Bush started passing surveillance laws, and white people were beating Muslim folks in the street. We had soldiers stationed in the subway with assault rifles for a long time. To keep us "safe".
9/11
When 9/11 happened, I was a senior in high school, I was a ferry ride away from lower Manhattan, could see smoke from the towers burning outside the window, and classmates were crying and freaking out that their parents were dead.
My biggest fear that day was that we were going to war, but fortunately everything turned out ok oh oops no, everything is even worse than I could ever imagined.
ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN CURSED please do not read this oh god why is my brain like this
what if...
sonic isn't actually blue furred/quilled...
what if... that's actually like... some kind of skintight bodysuit, where only his eyes, tummy and chest, and mouth and nose area are visible...
....
and Sonic's wearing socks, gloves and shoes over the top of it...
Sega should just put those games all on the Nintendo Switch because they feel like Switch games that came out 2 decades too early.
The problem was, gamers in 1999 did not like color or having fun.
They wanted ugly block men shooting at one another and being angsty over ridiculous, sub-B movie plotlines. That's what a hit game was in 1999.
@wxcafe the worst part is that this is probably easier to parse since 🤡 appears much less often in most text than commas
