i now know how to:
-take control of a scene involving a single casualty
-give first aid for most common injuries
-perform one- and two-rescuer CPR on any individual
-use an AED effectively
@phobos_dthorga @azushark Yeah. I have no idea why it's always the first thing they ask about. Suffice to say that the training doesn't cover any kind of DIY surgery.
@azushark Always handy to have this knowledge! I wish to learn someday myself too ^,==,^
What was the difficulty like?
@phobos_dthorga two day course, and fwiw the only question i got wrong on the test was just how often you should switch when doing two-rescuer CPR (i said 3 minutes instead of 2)
@azushark Get ready for a lifetime of people asking if you know how to perform a tracheotomy with a steak knife. This has been my main experience of being a first aider.
