Now, the fact that my hours were apparently given to the new kid isn't important but it fucking stings.
Regardless, i've essentially been let go (two weeks no hours is pretty much a constructive dismissal, especially when it's done with zero warning) but as they refuse to actually do so I suppose I'll ask them to, nicely. If they still refuse, i'll be off to employment standards.
