@angelastella meh some people dont like following there so it was a hinderance and It seems like people associate it with bad takes which based off the local feed I sorta get. Mostly I think I'll just like it here more.

It's a big, mainstream instance that from time to time gets an influx of spammers and trolls. OTOH people new to this often get told "just open your account there, ffs" to avoid awkward explanations.
Prejudice or not aside, I'm glad you find yourself more comfortable.
