is there any way i can get my linux mint file manager to not lie to me about file transfer speeds? i find it super annoying that i will copy a large file to a shitty USB2.0 flashdrive and it tells me at first that its going at like 1 gig per second or 100 megs per second but then once its "done" and i eject, i have to wait for it to actually finish before i can unplug it. its super annoying.
@budsofstone its the Cinnamon DE and the drive is formatted as exFat but it also seems to happen with fat32
