@cam the yellow dots are kinda unavoidable from standard printers unless you have a black and white printer from before the mid 90s. eff.org/pages/list-printers-wh is a good referrence.
github.com/dfd-tud/deda is a way to try to get rid of them.
Generally I'd say you want to blend in, dress nice and like the people in the area you're going. Wear a mask n95 or surgical will be way less suspicious. You could also go the worker route jeans, tshirt, highvis vest.

@cam I would personally go on a day that you would normally stay home and leave your phone at home. Depending on were you live take public transit or drive in park a ways away and take public transit the rest of the way. And most of all act friendly and natural.

@budsofstone

I'd add that when you take public transport to a thing like that, do not use your fare-card, debit card, or seniors' pass or whatever. Pay cash, pref with the correct coins. Same when you get where you're going - cash makes it harder to track you. I would personally not take my phone and would purge my wallet of the tracking tag I normally keep in there. If you MUST take a phone, take a cheap burner you paid cash for in a no-name shop. Do not store your contact numbers on that burner - remember them or put them on paper and bin the paper if you get busted.

Fkn long time since I 'marched' so younger/cleverer people than me will prob correct me on any of this stuff.
