@nebula mmh i see, im sorry you dont have many options.
that whole thing is a bunch of misconceptions, like yeah you dont want to cough or vomit after surgery but weed isnt gonna make you vomit and isnt addictive so you could just not smoke it till the stitches come out or as you said edibles. Im sorry you got some weirdo who knows nothing about weed. You might be able to find a patient advocate who works for the hospital or your insurance(if you have it) good luck getting the things you need.
@budsofstone I'm not going to argue with the surgeon (whom I'm trusting with my life) if she says this has happened in her experience. I've spoken to both of the patient advocates available to me. When you get your medical degree, I'll hear your arguments to the contrary. Until then, she doesn't tell me how to run my office so I don't tell her how to do her job.
@nebula ok im sorry, i wasnt trying to be rude. Good luck
@budsofstone 1. I don't have a lot of options in our situation anyway and 2. The explanation I got is because I can't risk coughing or vomiting after surgery for a few days because of stitches and they need to ensure that I won't *need* weed until the stitches are gone. Apparently, she's never heard of edibles or something.
