How convenient that the biggest thing in the way of mass organizing right now is a mass-disabling virus. How convenient that pestilence precedes war in the four horseman metaphor of collapsing empires. How convenient that power always finds a way to both cement itself and create the earthquake that turns that cement into rubble
@ashleygjovik I'm also curious how the hairs got destroyed in the mounting process?
@ashleygjovik bright backlight is always important for microscopy you can use any bright led that fits under the viewing platform. I would flat mount in oil personally and use an oil immersion lens. If you are having trouble mounting you could dry mount in a bubble slide. That would be easiest I think, but the lowest resolution. If you are interested in oil immersion Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oil_immersion
Has a good article, you do need a special lens to do it, most lab grade scopes have one tho
@AnarchoNinaWrites Even if you feel you've ""won"" the debate, you're just making them learn of their mistakes for the next debate. Every new argument that disarms them and every evidence that shocks them, they're gonna study them and get immunized against it.
You can't ""win"" a debate with fascists because by the mere act of talking to them you're losing in many fronts.
@ashleygjovik can we get specifics of what kinda microscope your using? It also looks like maybe the hairs aren't on one plane. Are they on a flat or bubble slide?
You know what we call people who vote for fascists? Yeah, fascists. You know what we call fascist enablers? Yes, also fascists.
Amazingly enough there are literally millions and millions of people out there who AREN'T fascists you can work with instead of appeasing fascists.
And you wonder why I ain't fuck with liberals/Democrats no more right? Your entire theory of politics pretty much consists of convincing right wing extremists not to be garbage and it ain't worked fucking once in history.
And don't say "we won some elections" because me and mine never won shit appeasing fascists and all your precious political leaders accomplished by appeasing fascists, is becoming more like fascists.
Incredible to me that this is not apparent to you after losing TWICE to a billionaire moron reality TV show nazi whose catchphrase is literally "you're fired."
It is always slightly bemusing how bigots, whether misogynists, racists, transphobes, etc, or some combination of all of the above, always seem to act like they're presenting new ideas that you've never thought of before. Instead of, you know, the most boring and familiar kinds of hate that have defined society for so long.

Companies are bad on their face. But especially tech companies, if you work infosec and believe your job is to protect people you have bought the propaganda. This doesn't make u a bad person, but you should consider what you believe and how you can actually help people instead of protecting company assets.

i have written a lot recently about militant decolonization because i see it as the root of a unifying platform for a just future. i don't know it's really my place but toni morrison says i should write what i want to read and furthermore the killer is in the house
How do abolitionists treat wealthy or well-connected people "escaping justice"? Are we supposed to say "We don't think anyone should be in prison, so it's good that [Hunter Biden] Isn't going to prison"?
Not really. A presumption of immunity for powerful or wealthy people is what lets the prison system exist. If they thought that they'd have to deal with it like anyone else, they'd change it. Immunity for elites or their relatives does not lead to abolition.
