@ch0ccyra1n @dalias @mcc I view instance Admins more as community members taking on the roles of bouncer and bar tender at the punk bar. There is room for improvement on community feed back and inclusion on decision making. And abuse is possible more antiabuse functions should be added to further prevent it, but I'm happy there is someone to kick that first I'm a nice Nazi out. And keep the beer tap working.

Meta, a trans man musing on "transmisandry"
The funny thing is, if you'd expect anyone to be opposed to so-called transmisandry or "kill all men", it's me, just on the front of being a binary trans man who is romantically involved with men and works with young boys. I'm clearly pretty invested in manhood in many contexts.
But manhood and patriarchy are death cults. Aside from hating women, the whole structure of patriarchy makes men miserable tools of capital. Because I care about (specific) men, I want to get rid of manhood as it exists.
Pretty much every problem the boys and men I know experience is rooted in a specific structural issue. The "male loneliness epidemic" is alienation under capital. What trans men face is really just transphobia. So not only should you care about women enough to be feminist, but chasing "transmisandry" or "the male loneliness epidemic" is just a red herring keeping us from tackling transphobia, capitalism, etc.
Aside from it all just being very basic problems of people misunderstanding punching up, I feel like coddling men actually does the opposite of making us safer.

@mcc Mastodon is a fairly good example of anarcho syndicalism, we have a decentralized layout of resources and some amount of control of what's on our respective instances. Most of fedi blocked meta so there is a collective actions there. But the fact that the software is owned by one person and he controls how its up dated and what happens with it is not along the lines of what the philosophy demands. Even with the small oversight board.
@mcc OK so the basis is use trade Unions collective power to starve the wealthy of power and money not by electoralism but by taking the means of production directly and without inflow of elite controlled resources government will fall. Paving the way for an egalitarian society were the people already have the resources and the means to distribute. See revolutionary Catalonia. I think blue sky is a very good example of libertarianism its centralized and for profit with no regulatory over sight.
