neurodivergent culture is referring to your brain as if it were a separate entity

They should make a getting out of bed that isn't hard and cold

"wow this group of people who think they're smarter than everyone else and the rules shouldn't apply to them, turns out they aren't against hierarchy, just any hierarchy that doesn't put them at the apex"

tbh if you want to be surrounded by nerds interested in breaking things without being interested in breaking people, you get into speedrunning and not infosec

If you make over 100k per year feed the god damn poor people around. There is no real excuse

be in a situation with horrible people as an adult: better get out of that situation

Sometimes Linux users on Mastodon can be intimidating or frustrating, so if you ever find yourself getting annoyed by one, here's my advice. Immediately reply with:

"Down, puppy! Down! We don't jump up like that, it's not polite. Siit. Siiiit. Siiiiit."

GOOD DOG! Who's a good puppy!? Is it you!? Are you a good puppy? You want to play?

Go on, write a blogpost about Wayland! Go get it! Get the Wayland!! Link me to your blog post about Wayland!"

re: fedi, minors

@cmdr_nova I also have experience as a minor on the internet. As a severe CSA survivor, i can tell you the internet saved my life. My abusers hated that I had access. The access to support was something I didn't have anywhere else. It made me realize that it wasn't normal and there was a whole world out there. So even if you had a not great experience, telling minors to never engage with the internet is maybe not the best.
