Since Dec 4, about 5589 Americans have died preventable deaths under America’s exploitative for profit health system.

Tech is political.
You encode your values, your attitude and your bias into the code.
The tech you create can give you legitimacy. It can give you influence. Get rich enough (or start out rich enough) you get doors opened to you.
It's all power.
We can see what some people in tech do with that power.
We can however choose to not contribute to that enablement.
You're in FOSS you've made some sacrifices.

@hypha I mean I don't agree with their reasoning. If I ran the site I wouldn't take it down. My best guess is health corpos have alot of money and are very litigious. And have spread the idea that self managed medication is harmful. Another thing is 4TVC tells people to do illegal stuff openly with the info they are providing, which I love. But might also go into why their video specifically was taken down. It is sad and frustrating but I'm unsurprised they are the target.

When yourself and everyone you know is always sick, being sick becomes normalized. Must be that "new normal" we were promised!
Living like it's 2019 and being constantly sick is the "new normal" that won out over PPE and increased indoor air quality. This is the "new normal" they want us to live in, with zero mention of COVID to spare their "mental health". This is the "new normal" and the cost of (largely) unmitigated viral spread.
I can't accept that.
I won't accept that.
Fuck your "normal"; I'll continue with my "weird" life, thanks.
