When I was a kid, the KKK planned a march through our downtown. I was at my grandparents’ house for the summer. The phone rang, my grandma called my grandpa to the phone. I sat and listened to his side of the conversation.
“Who? When? Where? Where are we meeting? On my way.”
Being the little boy, I want to go with him, whatever it was he was going to do. Lemme go!
“Not this time, son”, as he brushed past me.
With that, he went to the hall closet, pulled out his shotgun and a box of shells, and sped away in his truck. Time for business.
There was no KKK march through town that night or any other night. People don’t know about it because it didn’t happen. I think about that a lot lately.

I don't get excited about supporting small businesses that are registered LLCs and hiring waged employees.
I am excited about supporting independent craftspeople and sole proprietorships/partnerships.
I would be even more excited about supporting large, unionized, anarcho-communist industrial firms.

But generally Linux is a pretty secure os out of the box depending on your threat model. If your coming from windows especially, you might expect you need an anti virus but that is not generally the case with Linux.

my take on access to HRT, including DIY and minors
It should go without saying but apparently it might not be as obvious as i thought
But I believe that access to HRT is a fundamental right of every consenting individual who wishes to use it, with no "if"s or "but"s
That includes those who do not wish to interact with the medical system for *any reason* and minors when it comes to puberty blockers *and* hormones
Including DIY
