Some people are so shocked by police violence, and so blinded by their Liberal outlook, that they want to see an "insurgent" or "occupying" force when the police exert unhinged amounts of violence. They rather see that as an exception, an anomaly, than recognize that capitalism (even it's "democratic" incarnations) needs such violence to exist.

But no, State violence is at the center of capitalism, it's a constant threat that hangs like the sword of Damocles over the heads of the have nots.

Anyone who thinks the "Fidel Castro/Hugo Chavez stole my slaves" contingent represents the whole Latinx community in the US can fuck right off

I don't know how to explain to some people that the fact that the predatory billionaire and the reprehensibly corrupt politician use drugs sometimes is not the fucking problem you should have with them.

You know you can just not use AI, right?

You can make a choice not to be part of this.

Even if your job uses it, YOU don’t have to in your normal life. You don’t have to let your kids use it.

You didn’t have it three years ago. You can just…be on Team Human. You can choose.

has found that people with Long COVID (C and D) can be distinguished from healthy controls (A) and people who had COVID-19 infections but not Long COVID (B) by sticking patients' hands under microscopes and looking at the capillaries in the fingernail! Fast, cheap, easy, and useful!
