There are a lot of people positing that they can help people stretch their nonexistent dollars, while SNAP is unavailable.
And then they walk through how to make mac n cheese and add a can of beans.
Which tells me that they think people use SNAP on candy. It feels so condescending.

You can't buy from the prepared food section, or hot food, or formula and diapers, with SNAP. When my family was on food stamps, we lived on beans and rice, and mac n cheese, and government cheese, and canned meat.

The most essential fact to know about the right (including liberals) is that they say whatever needs to be true to justify their actions. You cannot convince these people in debate because they will never say their actual beliefs out loud to you.
