Are there any online mail services that still support windows 98 era mail clients?

@caz SMTP hasn't changed, and last i tried it (admittedly a couple of years ago) gmail still accepted the authentication methods that the client embedded in retrozilla 2.2 (which is just netscape messenger) could speak (i assume that is no longer the case since recently they've been phasing out password authentication)

@mavica_again I tried retrozilla (or maybe it was outlook) with a couple mainstream email accounts and it just did not work unfortunately. I'll have to try again. Thanks!

@caz did you find one? I tried gmail and outlook but nope...

@cuddle I'd test the advice I got in a reply about using retrozilla...but my old 98 rig just died on me. 🫠
