In the autism constraint, You want to do something that makes you wonder if it could be wrong in any way, you do it. Then comes that overwhelming feeling.

I get a perception that somehow there's a choice you can make on this, and it is so dependent on the situation, going around about it overwhelms you more.

*Inhales* yep. *Exhales*

Did the whole ordeal about jailbreak on my Kindle. Got sc (spreadsheet) and calcurse running on it. Maybe I'll go ahead and somehow get python-pip working. *SPLAT!*

Upgraded to bookworm from bullseye. Audio is gone. YAY.

I just did X11 Forward over ssh to my main computer from an old laptop i'm using as a Software KVM switch. I just opened Intellij, it works, it really works. The laptop has a Celeron M 420. This feels so wrong.

Adventures in the TTY Web #1: The Gemini Protocol

I suspend this old laptop, In hopes I can keep all my window layout intact. I press the power button to wake it up and no image.

I change the TTY, then back, and voilà. My desktop is there.

Alright, I'm backing off, no need to go there.

Being a little too rough over there. Just saying.

rPi's internet stopped working, learned about link-local, arp probing, dhcpcd.conf, how I always got the same local ip despite being under dhcp and didn't manage to fix it... rebooted the router and everything worked again. yay!

World of Ends is a document from 2003 that describes the nature of the Internet and highlights the misconceptions people have about it.

This document is now 20 years old and I still think about it from time to time.

They brought edubuntu back from the dead, wow. A gnu/linux distro being revived. Makes me wonder whether this is uncommon, or that I'm not THAT into distros
