@alexisomorphic I'm so sorry you've had to go through that, friend! Yeah you are much safer out here with people you love and I never intended to imply that it was the same experience.
What I meant to point out is that the design of the modern city and the modern prison mimic each other for similar reasons, that being social control (The ability to map out territory, to pinpoint problems and respond quickly with police/guards.)
@daggers_drawn really not fond of this. Like I agree to a degree, but the trauma I've gained from being actually locked up and the trauma I've gotten from existing under capitalism are very different. I can have moments of safety in the arms of people I love here.
