honestly the constant riding and mascotmaking of some trans icons is incredibly gross and you should probably lend your ear to more obscure and less platformed individuals from beaten down perspectives
if the platformed success and timelessness of an identity matters to you do the work to contribute to its platforming, don't just celebrate when it's tossed into your lap conveniently
social change doesn't come from convenience, don't be a dork, do some work
