i remember a little while ago i saw a news story that said Indian people were smashing up solar panels because they were afraid it would use up the Sun's energy. i dug deeper and found that it was actually a worker action because they hadn't been paid for installing the panels. be extremely skeptical of news from abroad that tries to paint foreign working class people as primitive and not having class consciousness

but it's more enticing when it confirms negative stereotypes of foreigners, than if people like you say it
