@Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city @nutomic Also I hope you don't associate colonialism and imperialism here to some arbitrary concept of Western(white) colonization here. Because this kind of atrocious totalitarianism can root in any culture and previously-established traditionalism and hierarchies. Colonialism definitely accelerates it tho.
@Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city @nutomic The State will never be the servant of the public, that's a liberal power fantasy. It will always be the slave owner of the public as that's just how the power dynamic is. People never think of themselves as poor, only future billionaires. People never think of themselves as slaves, only future rulers.
@danishcookies @Wewereseeds i disagree with you there. The state can absolutely serve the people, if it is controlled by the people. The reason we have so much corruption is because we elect our politicians every few years, and after that they can do whatever they want. So politicians just make promises for elections, and once they are elected, make politics for the rich and the companies.
On the other hand, elections work differently in socialist states like Cuba or China. There, politicians can be recalled at any time if they don't do what their voters want.

@nutomic @Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city
Oh... My... God...
There're so many things to unpack here.
"The State can absolutely serve the people" again liberal fantasy. You ain't got rights at gun point.
"elections work differently in socialist states like Cuba or China. There, politicians can be recalled at any time if they don't do what their voters want." I swear to God as a South East Asian I will absolutely beat the living crap out of you for saying China is some sort of amazing socialist state.
@nutomic @Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city Was it "socialist" when it fucking shoot fishermen boats when they get to territories it invaded? Was it "socialist" when it build dams in the higher regions of rivers and destroy livelihoods of the people down the river? Was it socialist when it keeps African countries in debt? Was it fucking socialist when it constantly invade nearby countries and sea regions ENDLESSLY FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS? And never stopped at all?
@nutomic @Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city And my fucking God you're a fucking schmuck if you think the State isn't fully fucking militarized in China. This is exactly why I fucking hate Tankies. You make me fucking sick.
@nutomic @Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city And was it fucking socialists when it cheerfully welcome companies to exploit the labor of its people?
@danishcookies @Wewereseeds lmao they blocked me after spamming me with 5 different replies. guess thats one way to admit that your argument is shit
@nutomic @danishcookies @Wewereseeds or maybe they blocked you because you sound like this fucken guy
@Wewereseeds@sunbeam.city @nutomic And moreover, there's almost never anything consensual about electoral politics as in its core it's purely whoever gets to manipulate the public the best gets to pull all the strings in the next few years. It's the competition for the best liar and the reward is the lack of consequences for these lies, at least for themselves.
