So I am watching Kim Possible while I cook ramen in the middle of the night. Why is Kim stopping the evil dude from stealing the super weapon when he was gunna sell it to currupt military interests? And now she has the mood alterlader she is falling for Ron. And Shego is falling for the evil dude. Cause of the mood thingies playing up. Really this is incorrect. Shego and Kim need to fall in love and live together pls.
@roxxers
Kim is technically a white bourgeoisie who assist cops and maintain the status quo.
@danishcookies I don't wanna accept this pls π
@roxxers
Well at least her friends are diverse so..."progressive liberal"? Not sure if this helps.
@danishcookies well shes actually gay and shego is trans so actually everything is fine
@roxxers
This is one thing I notice about Kim and Ron is that they exemplify the 2 aspects of capitalism. Kim is the ideal law enforcer and Ron is the ideal consumer. Kim protect capitalist interests while Ron dedicate his life to consuming their products.
@danishcookies whens the video essay channel being setup?
@roxxers
When I'm not shy anymore >w<

For shego, I would arguably say that she play into the role of evil because being "good" means being subservient to men and bend as their will, such as her family members. If being good means she has to take on the role of being the mom of her siblings, she'd much rather choose a life unbound of these gender role responsibilities and gaining respect from the people around her.
@roxxers
Unfortunately she was unable to find or didn't think of finding this sympathy in the women around her, most probably because they also kinda like Kim. Kim is the embodiment, and even a caricature, of the perfect woman(at least in this world): girl power...as a cop, born and raised in a nuclear family, rich, portrayed as heterosexual,... People like Kim never had to see the struggle of the real world as a woman when there's no longer a safety net beneath their feet.
