@GreenandBlack I would say that the horrid nature of cops stretch further than that. Even in places where they supposingly originates from "liberation army against invaders and colonists" what you see is still almost the mirror image of the cops you've just described. The problem isn't their origin. The problem is exactly what they are in nature: apparatus of the state to maintain the status quo.
@GreenandBlack This is also the reason why I will forever consider Marxist-Leninists as nothing but red cops as all they seem to do is worshiping state violence, as long as it is "non-Western."
