@dragonmagic kpop.social exists and has existed for several years at this point iirc but i could not tell you if their moderation is any good or what their admin(s?) are like. otherwise my best guess for an instance that would be welcoming (but is not specific to kpop) while also appearing to have a proactive take on moderation/protecting its users is fandom.ink
@dragonmagic i’ve seen a few in the past but they were usually instances that did not stay online in the end, either because the admin lost interest in running an instance or because of moderation issues i think. it’s the sort of rule i stay away from personally, if only because it also implies to me that migrating to a new server is a bit unwelcome (despite being a common part of fediverse culture). but in the end kpop.social is the only kpop specific instance i’ve personally seen and they’ve been around since… i don’t know, at least 2018?
