At the ER. Symptoms of a heart attack as we were leaving the restaurant. But EKG is clear, which is very good. Waiting on bloodwork.

Still in the ER, at least for a while. Jalan and Dragonlet have gone on to a motel. (Did I mention our air conditioning went out today? Because our air conditioning went out today.) There was a resurgence of symptoms, milder, a bit back. EKG still clear. Conclusive blood work re minor heart attack will be some hours yet. Hospital is at capacity, so, vaccine refusers? Fuck all y'all.

Initial blood work okay. Waiting on later blood work. Regardless, they're keeping me through the night for observation and a stress test in the morning. Whee! But I seem to be basically okay. Thank you for all the good wishes.

Still remains to be seen whether a room will open up in the observation ward, or if I'm stuck in the ER cubicle on a gurney.

Got the all clear. We'll probably never know what caused the symptoms, but it was definitively not anything structural in my heart. Going home soon.
And Jalan is meeting the A/C contractor.
