I wanna go to Japan and drink cooooooffeeeeeeee

@maple there's a subscription model for $10 US where you get games added to your collection but there will also be games you have to buy (and I think it's the highest quality settings of 4k, hdr, 60fps, 5.1 surround sound)
Next year there's the model of just buying games to stream, no sub collection and I think on slightly lower settings (1080p and 60fps?)

@naga@octodon.social yooooo that would be awesome

Ya ever plan out vacations based on what well known specialty coffee shop you want to go to?

I wanna go to Durham, North Carolina for coffee

Ya ever just stop and think about how good Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower is?

My poor nails needs a new coating of color

At this point I feel like Nintendo announcing Animal Crossing AND giving the release date of 2019 was just a horrible fever dream we all shared last year

re: google stadia pricing

@oct2pus @SuperCee@plush.city yeah it’s gonna be dicey
They said if you just do the base stadia where you buy games that they’re “yours to play whenever you want” but with how notorious google is for killing services that doesn’t mean much

re: google stadia pricing

@SuperCee@plush.city Yeah, I believe so
You can use just about any Bluetooth controller (I think joycons in the future? Dunno about Xbox or dualshock controllers). The Stadia controller doesn't connect through Bluetooth, it connects through wifi to the Google server so it was almost zero latency (so they say).

google stadia pricing

@SuperCee@plush.city pretty sure it breaks down as:
Stadia Pro is $10 a month and that let's you stream certain games, but some games won't be able to stream so you'll still have to buy them.
There's also a non subscription service next year where you ONLY buy games
You can play on any PC through chrome, a Chromecast, or a Pixel 3 phone (probably other phones later)
